Squalene is an occlusive emollient, providing moisturisation and preventing transepidermal water loss, restoring and protecting the lipid barrier for smooth, supple skin. Although it forms a thin layer on the skin, it is non-comedogenic meaning it does not clog pores, making it suitable for all skin types.
